Score one for the fans

Blackfive is reporting that Firefly is coming to the big screen. This does my heart good, why Fox killed this show is beyond me, but I have a feeling that it was due to the distinct lack of animals attacking things. ‘Course Fox has a history of canceling original shows in the first season (Harsh Realm, The Lone Gunmen, FireFly) and wrecking then canceling others (Dark Angel) while still paying for crap like “The OC”. Anyway, score one for the fans of this great show.
Very true…very true. I heard about this about 2 months ago. I even went so far as to email the production guys at SCIFI…Firefly would work for them…very well. I told them they should take a hard look at picking it up. Course they have been running B rated Nuclear infected skiteer flicks lately so they might not be any more mature than Fox. We can hope.
